About
Who We Are
The Fellowship of Christian Physicians is a professional community of physicians and surgeons committed to integrating Christian faith into the practice of medicine. In a profession defined by significant responsibility and increasing demands, the FCP provides a structured space for connection, encouragement, prayer, and shared purpose.
For many, medicine is more than a profession—it is a calling. The FCP exists to strengthen physicians as they live out that calling with consistency and conviction across every stage of practice.
Mission
Our mission is to support and encourage physicians in the integration of Christian faith into the practice of medicine through fellowship, prayer, mentorship, and purposeful community.
Vision
To cultivate a nationwide community of Christian physicians who are spiritually grounded, professionally excellent, and faithful in leadership—serving patients, colleagues, and communities with Christ-centered purpose.
Our Beginning
The Fellowship of Christian Physicians began in March 2025 at a luncheon hosted by founders Dr. Michael Lee (Iowa), Dr. Alan Catanzariti (Pennsylvania), and Dr. Justin Fleming (Pennsylvania) during the ACFAS Scientific Conference.
That initial gathering revealed a shared desire among physicians for faith-based fellowship and authentic community. What began within one specialty is now expanding across the broader field of medicine.
